Zoo Safari

As an amateur photogeek — as I and everyone to whom I’m related seem to be — all day Saturday was fantastic. Amy, my parents and I spent the day at the Vilas Zoo with real actual professional photogeeks from The Camera Company, learning how to think about the shots we were taking and mess with our cameras to get the best effect. It was a delayed Father’s Day present for my dad, though I have a hunch it ended up being a gift for all of us.
