I waited in line at an AT&T in Madison and didn’t get one. I walked up to the counter at an Apple Store in Milwaukee and they had piles.

(Apparently John had a similar experience.)

More thoughts to come as I get to know it a little better. My overall impression so far is that this is an exceedingly remarkable device. Hypeworthy indeed.

New glasses

I got two new pairs of glasses over the weekend. I’m still getting used to these, the lenses are smaller so my field of view is shrunk a little, but I’m really liking how light they are. (And how they don’t constantly slide down my face.)

The other pair will be done in about a week, are standard black, and look basically just like the ones I used to have.

Update: Turns out the lenses were ground wrong, which is why I was having so much trouble getting used to them. Back to the old glasses for a week or so until they get everything worked out.
